From Syracuse and Buffalo: use New York State Thruway (I-90) Exit 30 at Herkimer and take Route 28 South to Cooperstown. From Albany and Boston: use New York State Thruway (I-90) Exit 25A, take I-88 to Duanesburg (5 miles), go west on Route 20 then south on Route 80 to Cooperstown.
